Prophecy states that America and Canada will destruct unless they repent of their evil ways-- see the papers in the prophecy category on this website. Events point to this happening. The level of evil in many places has reached that of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Old Testament where the Lord destroyed these cities.
Why is our Creator, Jesus Christ, letting this happen? This requires explanation.
The Creator wants to teach Man the way of happiness. In Latter Day Saint (LDS) scripture, in The Pearl of Great Price, in Moses 1: 39, the Lord says: “For this is my work and my glory-- to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man”. Translated, God wants His children, Man, to realize the greatest possible happiness. Developing the capacity for joy requires that Man acquire a body and live on an earth. Here he experiences the difference between good and evil in a way that good can become an integral part of his nature-- he develops a caring heart. A person with a good heart experiences the greatest joy and peace of mind.
The Creator gives teachings and commandments which if practiced, leads to a good inner nature, a good heart and thus, great happiness. The problem is that the natural, unrefined man inclines toward evil ways-- egotistical, proud, greedy, practices unrefined sex, wants to prove himself better than others by dominating them, is materialistic, lazy, etc. King Benjamin in the Book of Mormon puts it well in Mosiah 3: 19: “For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of The Holy Spirit and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint…… becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit” to ask.
A minority of mankind readily follows the Creator’s teachings and realizes happiness. Most must experience the consequences of evil to wake up and search for a better way-- the way of happiness which our Creator teaches. Man learns of these consequences by he, Man, experiencing the problems caused by his folly. When this is not enough, the Creator inflicts hardships such as drought, plaques, conflict, etc. In the Old Testament and the Book of Mormon when a people went far astray, hardships were generated. Usually the people woke up and returned to the way their Lord taught. They would again experience happiness, peace and prosperity, and were glad that they had repented.
When evil becomes entrenched, it is hard for people to experience good and learn the way of happiness. Thus, Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed-- a new start had to be made so the upcoming generations would have a chance to learn happiness.
But despite the consequences of evil and hardships imposed by the Creator, some people continue to choose evil, and thus, long term misery. These people remain self-centered, are not giving and violate the great truths that bring harmony and beauty to the Creation, that made the Creation possible. The number of people making this choice is much less than those that sooner or later choose some degree of happiness-- some of this latter group realize great joy. We will later point out how wonderful being fully committed is. So people can obtain joy and for many other reasons which are too profound to be covered here, the Creator has chosen to generate severe problems so stubborn Man might be motivated to choose good even though some decide to remain evil. These latter people have had choice and as a consequence of their decisions, they have chosen their destiny-- they could have chosen otherwise* The Creator will never force good behavior on a person because in doing such, the person would choose good out of fear and his heart would not be changed, softened, and he would not realize happiness.

* The Creator always allows a person to choose what he will do. The Creator does generate situations that can help a person to learn the difference between good and evil and hopefully learn to choose good. Each person chooses how he will respond to a situation and what he will or won’t learn. If good was imposed, people would pick the good our of fear, their heart would not be changed and many would rebel, creating instability.

The Creator knows that by allowing the natural consequences of bad choices and by creating hardships, most people will select and learn some degree of happiness. After people have made a choice to seek happiness even if it is not a full commitment, they are glad that they made the choice. Those that sincerely turn to their Creator through living His teachings and by prayer, will have help, protection, comfort and places of refuge in these increasingly difficult times. The Lord will look after His people but this does not mean that they will escape all difficulties-- enduring hardship can help one grow spiritually. Also, the follower will be compensated for any suffering, particularly in the heavens. And should we die, still all is well because we will have the best of the heavens.
What specifically does the Lord expect of us? He asks that Man will respect Him and work to live His commandments. These teachings are based on the greater reality, truth and living in harmony with them (see Basic Truths Behind Christ's Teachings which is on this website). As long as we seriously work to improve ourselves, we are acceptable to the Lord and we will have His help. The teachings include The Two Great Commandments which are to love the Lord with all our heart and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Then there are the Ten Commandments and others. These other include:
- eliminating pride
- forgiving people who hurt us
- not coveting power, possessions, someone's wife, etc.
- you can love yourself but you also must love others
- sexual sin-sex is given as a scared gift to legally married heterosexual couples so that they can generate bodies for God's spirit children and raise these loaned spirits in a loving home, teaching them the instructions of our Creator. There is great joy and fun in this sexual relationship. All other sexual activity is an abuse of this scared gift and is forbidden, including masturbation, homosexuality**, fornication, etc. These reduce the closeness and beauty of a sexual relationship between a legally married man and women.

There are so many behaviors that limit Man's potential, that we can not list them all. King Benjamin in the Book of Mormon in Mosiah 4: 29, said: “I cannot tell you all the things whereby ye may commit sin: for there are divers ways and means, even so many that I cannot number them.” We have been given a conscience so that we can know right from wrong.
The core message of this paper is that by repenting of evil and turning to the ways of our Creator, we can have help, protection, peace of mind and happiness in these increasingly difficult times, even when matters greatly worsen. We though may experience some hardship, but we will be given strength to endure and will be compensated for any difficulty that is accepted. We are not expected to be perfect but are acceptable if we seriously commit to improving. When we do this, we will have a beautiful life in the post-earth spirit world, in the heavens. Those that choose the Lord's way, want to do this because it brings so much peace and happiness.
To summarize why matters will worsen, Man's folly is much contributing to this. Also, the Lord is turning up the heat to create circumstances which encourage people to turn to Him, to the higher way, the way of happiness.
There are beautiful benefits in addition to joy of turning to our Creator:
1)You will not have to pay the penalty in the post-earth spirit world that is attached to your misdeeds. Justice requires that a penalty be levied. The Creator has paid the penalty for all our misdeeds, sins, but His payment cancels our need to personally pay only if we accept Him and live as He asks. He underwent tremendous suffering to do this for us. If you don’t accept Him and repent, you will suffer as He suffered which will be very, very difficult to endure: “which suffering caused myself, even God … to tremble because of pain and to bleed at every pore” (LDS Doctrine and Covenants 19: 18). His suffering occurred on the cross and in the Garden of Gethsemane where he shed blood (Luke 22: 44). I, White Wolf, know that this happened for I have been in Gethsemane. Christ's love for us is unfathomable!
2)For those that fully turn to their Creator, there are further wonderful benefits for you in the heavens and to a more limited degree while on earth:
- you can gain all knowledge
- you will have indescribable happiness, love and joy
- you will really be free because all spirits are subject to you and living the ways of the Creator is what you want to do-- there has been no coercion in coming to this point
- you will share all that God has (you can be trusted)-- think about this, this has deep implications!
Won’t you turn to your all loving and all wise Creator to have protection and help in these increasingly troubled times, and an indescribably wonderful life in the post-earth spirit world.
