| Effective Leadership When People Are Not Following The Creator |

What a leader who is Spiritual can accomplish When people are following The Creator's ways, The Creator's assistance can be obtained and much accomplished. But a leader that is Spiritual can still do much even when his people are not spiritual and/or fail to the live the Creator's ways. A leader who walks with his Creator, can accomplish the following: 1) He is an example to his people and thus, encourages them to change by his example 2) He conveys confidence, strength, love, understanding and dependability, and thus, people are willing to follow him 3) He can have his prayers answered such as to gain insights into situations, softening the hearts of opponents, making a good impression, and being given strength 4) He can obtain warnings of danger and of problems, have protection from enemies and accidents (such as when driving) and much more 5) He can receive inspiration on how to handle and solve problems, and what initiatives to take Becoming a spiritual leader The following steps are necessary if a person is to be highly Spiritual and effective: 1) Learn to love your Creator and trust and live His ways (this is faith). 2) Live with faith and humility so that the Supreme Being can help you and answer your prayers. This includes having faith to know that the Creator will support and help you as is appropriate (in His wisdom). There is little faith when there is fear and worry (the exceptions are when you are concerned whether you have done enough to warrant help, are worthy or what you ask is wise). When faith is lacking, the Creator cannot help much. To get help, pray and then do all you can to accomplish your goal, leaving it to the Creator to do what you cannot do (the Creator seldom helps lazy people). And when help comes, express gratitude to the Creator. 3) Become the person the Creator wants you to become. This includes working toward becoming loving, dependable, humble, forgiving, long suffering, patient, and honest. The Creator also wants you to be grateful for your many Blessings and the help He has given, and to be respectful. Becoming the right person also requires that you are prayerful, asking for guidance, help and strength. Finally, you are to live the Ten Commandments and are to be moral. 4) Realize that you must have help from the Great Spirit to over come many weaknesses and to accomplish goals. Don't hesitate to ask-- the Creator wants to help! How can you forgive without His help? 5) You are to use no drugs or alcohol, and preferably you do not take tobacco into your body. 6) You must live morally. Though much is asked of us, the Creator realizes that self-improvement takes much time. What is expected is that we seriously work on improving ourselves, one step at a time. Then you will be supported in your leadership role. |
